General Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to refuse to supply goods you order.
By clicking the ‘Next’ button after selecting your payment method you are offering to buy the goods at the price stated subject to our terms and conditions.
Payment
Payment is accepted by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Delta, Visa Debit, American Express, BACS, CHAPS and cheque and must be received prior to delivery of goods. Accounts are available for Government Bodies and Educational Establishments.
All products remain the property of SO Office Ltd until payment has been received in full and goods have been despatched.
All prices exclude VAT
The price and specification of any product advertised on our website may be amended by us at any time and without prior notification.
All goods are subject to availability. If we do not supply the goods we will refund any money already paid. We will not be liable for compensation or damages if we do not supply the goods. Contract of sale will only be concluded once the goods have been despatched.
The price for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers' price or if due to an error or emission the price published for the goods on our web site is incorrect. We will inform you of the correct Price and give you the option to cancel your order.
Non-Defective Returned Products
Office Equipment & Printers - Sorry, we do not accept returns for non defective products.
Office And Printer Supplies - Our customers have the right to return any non-defective product purchased from us up to 7 days after the date of order. A refund will be given providing that the returned product is in a condition which will not prevent it's re-sale. All seals and packaging must be fully intact and there must not be any indication of leakage. Proof of postage will also be required. Due to costs, goods returned because they are not required will incur a 20% of purchase price re-stocking fee. Refunds can only be made in the same medium as used for purchase and can take upto 28 days.
Faulty Products
Office Equipment & Printers - We reserve the right to inspect the equipment, and repair the equipment to restore functionality to the manufacturers standard prior to accepting the return.
Office And Printer Supplies - Faulty products must be returned to us within 2 days of any fault becoming apparent. You should provide a sample which has caused you to believe the product is faulty, please return this with the product. All faulty products are replaced or you are refunded.
Damaged and Incorrect Deliveries
Damaged products or products which have been incorrectly dispatched must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt. Please note, if a customer orders an incorrect product and it's packaging has been opened then it becomes non saleable. In situations such as this, we can't be held responsible and we will not refund or replace free of charge.
Despatch of Products
Delivery can be expected next day for the UK allthough this is not a guarantee and as stated on the European Orders, Shipment Times & Rates page for countries other than the UK. ALSO PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU ENTER AN INCORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSSES.
Risk passes on delivery but ownership of the goods will not pass until payment is received for all sums due in respect of the goods.
All discrepancies or damages must be notified in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
Any disputes not resolved by the normal complaints procedure will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England & Wales under English Law.
